Notification — Act Immediately

In the event of any incident that may give rise to a claim — collision, grounding, pollution, cargo damage, crew injury, vessel arrest or any other casualty — members must notify Amana Marine as soon as possible and in any event before admitting liability, making any payment, or signing any document without prior authorisation from Amana Marine.

Prompt notification allows Amana Marine to appoint the appropriate surveyors, correspondents and legal representatives to protect the member's interests from the outset. Delayed notification may prejudice cover.

Certificate Verification

Every certificate issued by Amana Marine carries a unique certificate number and a QR code. Scanning the QR code or entering the certificate number on our verification portal instantly confirms the authenticity, validity status and vessel details of the certificate.

This enables port state control officers, flag state administrations, charterers and lenders to verify Amana Marine certificates independently, without contacting our office.
